Privacy Policy

The Standings is a paid leaderboard for lifestyle and fashion creators on Instagram, operated from India for an audience in India. This policy explains what personal data the site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions about anything here go to the.standings.co@gmail.com.

We collect three kinds of information, and nothing else:

• What you submit to be listed. The display name, Instagram handle, and — if you upload one — the profile photo entered on the submission form. This is published: it is the listing itself, visible to anyone who opens the site.
• Your contact and payment details. Collected by Razorpay at checkout, not on this site — we never see your card, UPI, or bank details. We store the contact details and payment reference Razorpay passes back to us, never shown publicly.
• Basic usage data. Click-throughs to a creator's Instagram are counted using a hashed, anonymised fingerprint, never a raw IP. The live viewer count uses a random id stored in your browser, not tied to you in any other way.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Submitted details are used to publish and rank your listing. Payment details are used to process the payment, to issue refunds where one is due, to answer billing questions, and to meet the record-keeping and tax obligations that apply to a payment. Usage data is used only to produce the click and viewer counts shown on the leaderboard.

We use two processors, and share your data with no one else. We do not sell personal data.

• Razorpay processes payments and collects and handles your contact and payment details directly, under its own privacy policy.
• Supabase hosts the database and the storage bucket that photos are kept in.

The site itself is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server request logs for operational and security purposes. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Our infrastructure providers may store and process data on servers outside India. By submitting a listing you consent to that transfer, which is made only for the purposes described in Section 3.

A listing and its photo stay up while the listing is live, and are deleted when it is removed. Payment records — including the payer email and phone number — are kept for as long as tax and financial record-keeping law requires, which is why they can outlive a removed listing. The click records described in Section 2 are deleted within two hours of being written — they are only useful for one hour, so nothing is served by keeping them longer.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS, and contact and payment details are restricted to server-side access only. No system is perfectly secure, but access is kept to what is needed to run the Service.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or erase it, and you may withdraw consent you previously gave. Email the.standings.co@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. If your Instagram handle was listed by someone else and you want the listing taken down, that route is set out in Section 6 of the Terms & Conditions — you do not need to have paid for anything to use it.

Erasing a listing does not erase the payment record behind it, for the record-keeping reason in Section 6 above.

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child's data has been submitted, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept it.
